i am happy that eto'o has been a goal scoring machine during barça's preseason trek around the world, and hope that it is the promise of things to come. additionally, i'm happy the messy situation with messi and his desire to play for the argentine olympic squad has been settled, though it is probably too late to call him back from china for the champions league qualifiers, its just nice to have things settled so we can focus on what is important. furthermore, i'm excited about the acquisition of hleb, he has preformed to all expectations in the preseason, and will hopefully will provide a much needed patch up across the middle. finally, maybe this will be xavi's year, after his stunning performance at the euros. força barça!
