One of the greatest things about San Francisco, is that the Summer doesn't really arrive until what is conventionally the Fall in the rest of the USA. Thankfully, most tourists don't seem to know this, so we get to witness the comedy that is grown men in shorts shivering in fifty degree July 4th celebrations, and the converse that is women wearing heavy sweaters while sauntering down the Embarcadero amidst ninety degree weather in mid October. I like to think of this photo as the symbol of the start of summer, meanwhile I sit in my office wearing a sweater and dreaming of spending my Winter in the Summer air of Argentina.
